How do I create an account?
Category: Your Account
Creating a Kick Cashback account takes about 30 seconds. All you need is a valid email address and a password — no credit card, no name, address or phone number required at sign-up, and absolutely no fee. Once your account is live you can immediately browse the 650+ partner stores and start earning cashback on your first purchase.
The step-by-step sign-up process
- Open kickpay.co in any browser, on any device.
- Click Customer Login at the top of the page, then choose Sign Up.
- Enter the email address you want associated with your account. We'll use this for sign-in, payout notifications, and the occasional account update — never for spam, and never sold to third parties.
- Choose a password of at least 8 characters. We recommend a passphrase or a password manager-generated string for safety.
- Confirm you've read and agreed to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
- Click Create Account. You'll be signed in immediately and dropped into the portal.
What happens immediately after sign-up
You'll arrive at your dashboard at kickpay.co, which shows the stores directory, your cashback balance (starting at $0), and quick links to the most popular categories. There's no verification email you have to click before you can shop — your account is active straight away. Click any store, click through, shop normally, and your first cashback will start tracking.
What you don't need to provide at sign-up
- No credit card — Kick is free, so there's no payment method to register.
- No legal name or address — these are not required to browse or earn.
- No phone number — optional, only used for two-factor authentication if you turn it on.
- No identity documents — Australian KYC verification only kicks in for very large or unusual claims.
What you'll add later (optional, only when needed)
When you're ready to claim cashback to your bank account, you'll be asked for your BSB and Australian bank account number. This is only used to send the direct bank transfer. Larger claims (typically over $500) trigger an additional identity check under the AML/CTF Act 2006 — see our claim limits explainer for the details.
Can I sign up on a phone?
Yes. Sign-up works in any browser on any device — phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. Android shoppers can also use the dedicated Kick Cashback Android app. iOS shoppers use the website at kickpay.co, which is fully responsive.
What if I forget my password?
Click Customer Login then Forgot password on the sign-in screen. Enter your email and we'll send a reset link. The link is valid for 30 minutes and can only be used once.
Already have an account?
If you've forgotten whether you've signed up before, try the password reset flow with your most-used email. If we have an account on file, you'll receive the reset email; if not, you'll be told the email isn't registered.
