Yes — protecting your data, account and money is something we take seriously. Kick Cashback is an Australian business and we handle personal information in line with Australian privacy law. Here's a plain-English overview of how the service is designed to keep your information safe.
How your data is protected in transit
Every connection to kickcashback.com.au and kickpay.co is encrypted with HTTPS. You can verify this yourself by clicking the padlock in your browser's address bar. We don't accept unencrypted traffic, so your sign-in credentials and account data aren't sent in the clear over public Wi-Fi or any other network.
How your data is protected at rest
Account information is held in managed, access-controlled databases hosted with reputable cloud providers. Passwords are never stored in readable form — they're put through a one-way hashing process, which means even Kick staff cannot see your password. If you ever forget it, the only path is to reset it, not to retrieve the original.
Your payment details stay with the retailer
This is one of the most important points and one of the easiest to misunderstand: Kick never sees your credit or debit card details. When you click through from your Kick Cashback portal to a store, you check out on the retailer's own website, with the retailer's payment processor, exactly as you would if you'd typed the URL directly. Your card details flow from your browser to the retailer — they don't pass through any Kick server.
Account-level safeguards
You can enable two-factor authentication on your account at any time, and we recommend it. Sensitive actions like changing your payout bank account trigger an email confirmation so you're alerted if something happens you didn't initiate. If anything ever looks off, you can lock the account from your settings or by emailing us.
What we do with your data
- We use it to run the service — sign you in, track your cashback, pay you, and send essential account emails.
- We don't sell it. Your shopping history is yours. Retailers see that a Kick referral purchased — they don't get your name or contact details from us.
- We keep marketing minimal. If you opt in to cashback-rate alerts, those emails come from Kick directly.

What to do if something looks wrong
If you ever see an unexpected payout, an unfamiliar device on your account, or a phishing email pretending to be Kick, email info@kickcashback.com straight away. We'll investigate as quickly as possible. Genuine Kick emails come from kickcashback.com or kickpay.co addresses and will never ask you to send your password.
