How does cashback work?

Cashback works in five steps at Kick: sign in to your free portal at kickpay.co, click through to a partner store, shop and pay as normal, watch the cashback appear in your dashboard within minutes, then claim it to your Australian bank account when it moves to Available. The retailer funds the cashback through a referral commission.

Why do I need to click through from the portal?

When you click through from your Kick Cashback portal, we set up tracking that connects your purchase to your cashback. This lets us verify your purchase and track your cashback accurately. It's completely free and only takes a second.

My cashback wasn't tracked — what happened?

Cashback fails to track when the tracking link is broken: not clicking through from the Kick portal first, ad blockers stripping tracking cookies, switching device or browser mid-purchase, or opening a third-party coupon site after clicking from Kick. Always start at kickpay.co and finish checkout in one session — email info@kickcashback.com if you need help.

Do ad blockers or privacy extensions affect cashback tracking?

Yes. Ad blockers, tracker blockers, strict cookie settings, and 'Enhanced Tracking Protection' in browsers like Firefox and Brave often block the tracking cookie that lets us match your purchase to your account. Before clicking through from the Kick Cashback portal, pause your blocker for kickcashback.com.au and the retailer's site, or whitelist them. iOS users on Safari may also need to disable 'Prevent Cross-Site Tracking' for the duration of the shop.

Can I use a discount code or coupon and still earn cashback?

Cashback with a discount code is only eligible where the retailer's current terms permit that code. Codes not listed in the Kick portal — including third-party coupon-site codes — may invalidate cashback, so always check the store's terms before applying a code. Use codes shown on the store's page inside your Kick portal, click through from Kick first, and finish checkout in the same session.

Does cashback still apply on sale or clearance items?

Yes — most retailers pay cashback on sale and discounted items at the rate shown on the store's page in Kick Cashback. A smaller number exclude clearance, final-sale or outlet ranges. The store's page in your portal lists any known exclusions, and cashback is calculated on the final price you pay excluding GST and shipping.

Can I shop on my phone and claim on my computer?

You can shop on either device, as long as you click through from the Kick Cashback portal and complete checkout in the same session on the same device. Switching devices part-way (for example, starting on phone and finishing on desktop) can break the tracking. Claims are managed in your account at kickpay.co and can be requested from any device once your cashback is Available to claim.

How does cashback work for travel, insurance and subscriptions?

Travel, insurance and subscription cashback stays in Pending for longer at Kick, matching the retailer's cancellation and cooling-off window — the timing shown on the live offer is what applies. Once that window passes and the booking is confirmed (or the policy is locked in), cashback moves to Available to claim and can be paid to your nominated Australian bank account.
